From the preface to 金华方言词典 (Jinhua Dialect Dictionary):

金华方言的连读变调很复杂。
Jinhua Dialect tone sandhi is complicated.
第8页金华方言两字组连读变调表列出两字组连读变调的主要规律
The Jinhua dialect disyllable tone sandhi table on page 8 lists the principle rules
(超出这些规律的列外已在词典正文词条里注明“变调特殊”),
(beyond the table of these rules, the terms in the main text clarify the “sandhi particulars”),
一些字组在文读时特有的变调规律未包括在内。
when reciting literature, some syllable groups have sandhi rules that are especially arbitrary.
表左表示前字声调,表端表示后字声调。
The first syllable tone is listed on the left, and the second syllable tone is listed above.
表中表示变调后的实际调值。
In the middle are listed the sandhi tones.
其中“述”字表示该连读模式主要见於述宾式结构的字组。
Among them, the “Obj” character indicates that this sandhi form principally appears on syllable groups with Verb-Object structure.
古清声母上声字和古浊声母上声字的白读单字调均为隐上[ˇ]535调,
The citation tone for classical voiceless onset ‘rising’ tone syllables and classical voiced onset ‘rising’ tone syllables is the same yin ‘rising’ tone (535).
在两字组连读变调里,古清,浊声母的上声字有时有所区别,
In disyllabic sandhi, the classical voiceless and voiced onsets of the ‘rising’ tone sometimes differ.
在本小节里按古声母清浊分为隐上[ˇ]535、阳上[ˇ]535两类。
In light of this tangle, the classical voiced and voiceless onsets are split into two categories, a yin ‘rising’ tone (535) and a yang ‘rising’ tone (535).
三字组的变调,更加复杂,这里不再说明,请看词典正文。
Tri-syllabic tone sandhi is even more complicated, and will not be explained further. Please see the dictionary main text.
